It all began over 7-1/2 years ago, when I stumbled across the website of a family who had adopted a child in China a few months before. Since then it's been 2 beautiful children of my own, dozens of amazing children joining my friends' families, and over one hundred precious children who I've had the honor of helping to bring home. Adopting from China has been my Journey of Love, and because of that I've had the opportunity to make three incredible trips to China in the last 6 years. At the end of this month I will make my fourth trip, to assist my friend Lauren in bringing her third Chinese daughter home. This will be a very different experience, being a spectator to the start of a new family.

This blog is just beginning...I hope to post occasionally about adoption from China and my experience as an adoptive parent and an adoption professional.
